New  Sweet Waffle Fingers On A Stick

Ingredients Preparation
WAFFLES
1 can[354 mL]Carnation® Regular, 2% or Fat-Free Evaporated Milk
  Lemon juice or white vinegar
¼ cup[50mL]melted butter
  eggs
1 tsp[5 mL]vanilla extract
2 cups[500 mL]Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
¼ cup[50 mL]granulated sugar
2 ¼ tsp[11 mL]baking powder
½ tsp[2 mL]baking soda
½ tsp[2 mL]salt
16 sticks (skewers, lollipop sticks, popsicle sticks)

TOPPING
1 cup[250 mL]milk chocolate, semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted
  Sprinkles, chopped nuts
Preheat waffle iron.

Pour evaporated milk into a 2 cup (500 mL) measuring cup. Add enough lemon juice or vinegar to bring mixture to 2 cups (500 mL). Stir to combine. Mixture will thicken.

Whisk together evaporated milk mixture, eggs, melted butter and vanilla in a large bowl. Combine dry ingredients and stir into evaporated milk mixture. Mix until blended.

Ladle batter into preheated waffle iron. Cook the waffles until golden and crisp. Cool on wire cooling rack.

Cut each waffle in half. Skewer each waffle lengthwise. Drizzle with melted chocolate and top with sprinkles.

Makes 16 waffle fingers
